Open Question: Missing getting into 5th Gear?

Alright, so im driving my car, a 93 Honda Del Sol si (vtec)... and everything is fine, 1-4 I have no problems at all, no weird noises, nothing, but about 50% of the time, when I clutch in, change to 5th gear, clutch out, as I drop the clutch, my RPM meter skyrockets from 2.5-3 rpms, to about 5-6 and im only going about 55-60. I have had others that have driven the car, and have had no problems, so im positive its nothing with the car, but is there anything I can do to make sure this doesnt happen as often... or at all?...
